Founder of The SustainAble Human Work Hub.
For much of my early career, I became very good at looking like I was coping. I was capable, reliable and conscientious.
But underneath, I was managing anxiety I didn’t feel able to speak about. I hid behind perfectionism and used humour to deflect. It felt easier to say I was “fine” than risk being misunderstood.
The leaders I worked for weren’t uncaring; they were under pressure too. Targets had to be met. Work had to move. There was little space for uncertainty or vulnerability, and even less guidance on how to hold it.
Over time, I realised I wasn’t alone. Many talented colleagues were feeling the same.
That was my turning point.
I trained as a Mental Health, Neurodiversity and Menopause awareness for organisations facilitator but always felt there was more.
I focus on Mental Health First Aid, Workplace Wellbeing, Leadership and Team Development, Behavioral Assessment, Performance Management, and Coaching and Mentoring. My wealth of experience in learning consultancy, training design, and delivery comes from my background in both the financial services and construction industries. I’m all about building strong, long-term relationships with my clients, really understanding their business needs, and helping my audience become enthusiastic and committed to developing their skills while leading healthy and fulfilling lives.
I adopt an upbeat, enthusiastic, and facilitative approach to my training. I’m not afraid to question and challenge.
The Hub grew from a question I couldn’t ignore:
What if the issue isn’t that people aren’t resilient enough — but that the way we’re working isn’t sustainable?
I saw that many organisations weren’t facing a motivation problem. They were facing a human sustainability problem.
I wanted to create something steadier. Thoughtful. Preventative rather than reactive.
